About Don Bosco Institute of Technology
The Don Bosco Society, also known as the Salesians of Don Bosco, was founded in 1859 by St. John Bosco, who sought to educate and help homeless and orphaned child laborers in Turin, Italy. Today, the society has over 32,000 members working in 134 countries, offering educational and social services through schools, colleges, technical institutes, and youth centers. In India Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) (Unit of Don Bosco Group of Educators), Okhla Road is situated on the bank of Sukhdev Vihar Metro Station, South Delhi, 110025.
