Author Guidelines

Aim of Publishing the Journal:
The aim of journal is to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, academicians and professional from diverse domains of management to share innovative research achievements and practical experiences to stimulate scholarly debate in the diverse fields of management, commerce, information technology and media. information technology and media. Journal is dedicated to publish high quality research papers providing meaningful insights into the above mentioned subject area.

Author Guidelines and Manuscript Preparation
The text should be clear, readable, and concise. Manuscripts should be well presented with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Sections of the paper should appear in the following order: title page, abstract (including keywords and JEL classification numbers), text, appendices, endnotes (including acknowledgments), references, and author biographies.
Format
The recommended length of papers is 6000-8000 words, inclusive of tables, figures and references.
Material may be formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12 and double spaced. Consistent use of either British or American spelling is advised and not both at the same time.Kindly use the decimal system of headings with no more than three levels.Maintain one-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides.

Equations, tables, and figures must be numbered consecutively. They should be referred to by number in the text before their appearance.
Each table and figure should be self-explanatory with notes or captions for clarity or to indicate the source, as necessary; all abbreviations should be expanded.
The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text.
Referencing and citations in the text should follow the referencing style used by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Title Page
The manuscript should be accompanied by a title page (first page) containing:

A short but informative title.
Full names of all authors and their affiliations (in the same order as they wish them to appear in print) along with their postal address and email address. Details of the authors- names and affiliation should not appear elsewhere in the manuscript.

Please indicate the designated corresponding author.

Abstract:
Authors should provide a concise and factual abstract of around 200-250 words, which is complete in itself. The abstract must summarise the objective, methods, key results, conclusions, implication, and relevance of the study. Avoid acronyms, abbreviations, and citations in the abstract. Provide 4 to 6 keywords that can be used for indexing purposes. These should not repeat the title. JEL codes should be below the keywords.

Editorial Procedure:
The editors reserve the right to reject/return to the author(s) any manuscript that in their opinion is not suitable for publication in TJMITM Journal of Management, IT and Media, without expressly stipulating the reasons for doing so. Under no circumstances will the identity of the reviewer(s) and referee(s) be disclosed to the author(s) or to any other third party not involved in the editorial process.

Manuscript Submission:
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work has not been published, accepted or is under reviews elsewhere. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Review Process:
Research Papers/Articles received will immediately be put before the editorial committee for initial review. The selected papers will be sent to two reviewers for their opinion with a request to pass on the same within approximately eight weeks’ time or less. An effort is made to publish a paper duly recommended by a reviewer within a period of six months. Correspondence and proofs for correction will be sent to the first author unless otherwise specified. The article will be published after receipt of the corrected proofs from the authors.

Copyright:
The authors will be asked to transfer copyright of the article to the publisher by signing the “Transfer of Copyright” agreement.

Submission Process
Upon submission of the articles, the manuscripts are screened for plagiarism or originality checks using software. Only original and un-plagiarized articles are referred to the reviewers for their comments on the same. After receiving of reviewers’ comments on the paper, the designated editor chooses as to its acceptance or amendment or rejection. It is advisable to submit plagiarism report with the paper to speed up the review process.

Guidelines for Submission: –
⦁ A softcopy of the manuscript should be submitted to publication@tips.edu.in
⦁ Format: The manuscript should be in MS Word format, double-spaced with margins of 1 inch on all sides using Times New Roman Font in size 12.
⦁ Cover Page: The manuscript should be accompanied by a cover page comprising title of the article, authors’ name and affiliation, mailing address, phone, fax and email address. In case of multiple authors, the cover page should also indicate the author to whom correspondence should be addressed.
⦁ Title: Title of the article is of Maximum 15 words.
⦁ Abstract: Abstract need to be introduced in three parts (Background/Methods/Conclusion). The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory, briefly present the topic, state the scope of the experiments, indicate significant data, and point out major findings and conclusions. The Abstract should be in about 150 to 200 words. Standard nomenclature should be used and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited. Following the abstract, key words not more than 8 that will provide indexing references should be listed and in alphabetical order.
⦁ Length: The full-length paper should not exceed 6000 words.
⦁ Style: The citation style for all submissions to TJMITM should follow the APA style. However, the papers related to Law should follow the Blue Book Citation style.
⦁ Tables and charts: Tables and charts presented in the text should be in black and white only. They must meet APA guidelines. Wherever necessary, the title should be indicated at the top and sources should be at the bottom. They should be serially numbered and this number match with the references to them cited in the text. The tables, figures and charts need not appear in separate document files. The tables and figures mentioned in the text should appear near/after they are referred.
⦁ References: References should be given separately at the end of the paper and the entries should be arranged alphabetically. The word ‘References’ should appear as a first-level heading. The list should include only the works the author(s) has cited inside the body of the paper. Kindly refer to APA 6th for Referencing and Citation Styles.

Research Submission to TJMITM is an ongoing process and papers will be considered for upcoming issues. On the recommendation of review committee, the selected papers will be allotted to the specific volume and the issue of the journal and it will be notified to the authors once finalized. The decision of the Editorial Committee shall be final in all cases.

Ethics and Malpractice
Our publication ethics and malpractice statement is based on the guidelines for journal editors developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Manuscripts submitted to TJMITM Journal are evaluated entirely on the basis of their scientific content. There are no publication charges. All possible measures are taken to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics and to prevent malpractices. Authors who submit papers to our Journals attest that their work is original and unpublished and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In addition, authors confirm that their paper is their own original work that has not been copied or plagiarized, in whole or in part, from other works and if the authors have used the works of others the same has been appropriately cited or quoted.
