2. Guidelines for Submission

Journal of Eco-friendly Agriculture is a biannual publication (January and July), focusing on research in agriculture, horticulture, environmental science, and human ecology. The journal accepts original research papers and short communications; eminent scientists may be invited to submit review articles. Manuscripts must not be under review elsewhere.

Content Scope

Submissions should relate to eco-friendly agricultural practices, such as bio-pesticides, bio-agents, bio-fertilizers, IPM, IDM, INM, and allied areas. Emphasis should be on the quality and sustainability of agricultural practices.

3. Manuscript Preparation

  • Submission Format: Manuscripts should be typed double-spaced in 12-point Arial or Times New Roman font on A4 paper with 1-inch margins. After acceptance, provide the final manuscript on a virus-free CD in MS Word format.
  • Title: Limit to 6–8 words.
  • Abstract: Provide a concise summary of findings (150 words max).
  • Keywords: Include up to 6 keywords separated by commas.
  • Text Structure: Organize the manuscript into sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments, and References. Avoid footnotes and use metric units.

Section Guidelines

  • Introduction: Briefly outline the study's objectives and a short review of relevant literature. No heading is required for this section.
  • Materials and Methods: Describe methods briefly, citing references. Detail new methods so other researchers can replicate the study.
  • Results and Discussion: Combine these sections to avoid redundancy. Blend data with discussion and provide supporting references. Statistically analyze all data.
  • Conclusions: Present a short conclusion after Results and Discussion.
  • Acknowledgments: List acknowledgments following the main text.
  • References: Arrange references alphabetically, including the author(s), year, title, journal name, volume, and pages. Avoid personal communications but cite in the text if necessary.
