The experiment on effect of different solid and liquid media on growth, sporulation and biomass of H. thompsonii was conducted at Bio-control research laboratory, Department of Entomology, Navsari Agricultural University during the year of 2020-21. The result revealed that among the five solid media sabouraud’s dextrose agar+yeast medium supported higher radial growth, sporulation and biomass (wet and dry) of H. thompsonii followed by PDA medium. Five liquid media tested for sporulation and biomass of H. thompsonii, significantly highest sporulation, as well as wet and dry mycelial biomass, was observed in sabaurad dextrose broth, whereas significantly lowest spore production and biomass (mycelial wet and dry weight) was recorded in czapek’s dox dextrose broth.
