Abstract

India is a developing country and one of the largest & diverse educational hubs in the world. Incidentally, it is also considered the world’s super hub for homoeopathy. The impact of globalisation, development of new technologies, the necessity of improving quality tomeetthemarket requirements, and regulatory compliance have significantly impacted the businesses and forced the industry to look for support from collegeacademia. Therefore, from the few decades, industry- academia collaboration has become a subject of great interest. The nature of the industry is to focus on near-term commercial value,but academia focuses on building new knowledge through research.It is valid for the homoeopathic industry too. Industry-academia collaboration in homoeopathy can be in new drug proving, product development, clinical and animal study, market research, health study, and many more. This article gives insights into the possibilities of industry-academia collaboration in the areas mentioned above.
