The present work is a study on free convective heat and mass transfer characteristics of chemically reactive magneto-nanofluid flow through a vertical moving porous plate in conducting field. A water-based nanofluid with the combination of alumina is considered in this analysis. The governing equations of motion are solved by applying the finite difference method. The influence of different parameters on fluid velocity, temperature, concentration, shear stress, rate of heat transfer and rate of mass transfer are presented graphically and discussed. The novelty of this study is the consideration of occurrence of chemical reaction. The influence of chemical reaction leads to an enhancement in the concentration of the fluid and a diminution in its temperature.
