📢 NAAS Scoring Evaluation Notice - Call for Journal Submissions
Dear Journal Publishers and Editors,
We are pleased to announce that the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) will be conducting the NAAS Scoring Evaluation for Research Journals without Impact Factor, effective from January 1, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria/Basic Information for Journal Submission:
To be considered for NAAS Scoring, journals must meet the following mandatory criteria:
ISSN and e-ISSN
Minimum standing of the journal (at least 5 years by 31.12.2022)
Relevance to agriculture and allied sectors
Date of receipt and acceptance for each article
Details of the website providing verifiable contact details of Chief Editor, Editors, Associate Editors & Publisher
Critical peer review process for article acceptance
Official publication status of a Registered Scientific Society/Academy/University/Institute (if applicable)
Publisher's details including postal address, functional website, email, and telephone numbers
Names and affiliations of Chief Editor, Editors, and Associate Editors
Policy to check plagiarism
Journal Ethics Policy
Membership status in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)
Periodicity
Inclusion in the UGC List of Approved Journals (if applicable)
Absence from any list of possibly predatory journals
Volume and Issue numbers of the journal for submission
Specific Information (60 Marks):
Number of papers published (full papers and short communications) in 2021 and 2022
Contribution of papers from overseas institutions in 2021 and 2022
National participation in publications from different Institutions/Universities in 2021 and 2022
Average time taken from manuscript submission to acceptance for publication in 2021 and 2022
Proof of offline or online processing, online publication, and hardcopy printing
Citation analysis for the 10 best papers published in 2019, 2020, and 2021
Impact Factor Scores from Scopus CiteScore, Scimago Journal Ranking (SJR), and Resurchify Impact Score
List and proof of Abstracting Services covering the journal
Submission Deadline: The last date of receipt for the application is August 31, 2023. Any application received after this date will not be considered.
Please ensure that all information provided is accurate and verifiable. False information will lead to disqualification from NAAS Scoring for six years.
